In the fight scene between Garnet and Ringo, Garnet gets confused and called Hopper Hoppy, as their names are very similar. The statue of Rose used to heal Amethyst.

The fact Hopper didn't count 9000 is a reference to the Dragon Ball Z meme 'It's over 9000!'.

Just like in the Dragon Ball series, it breaks after the person's power levels gets too high.

It is similar to a scouter from the Dragon Ball series and looks similar to a Wii U GamePad.

In 'Jail Break', it is revealed that Garnet is the Fusion Gem of Ruby and Sapphire. She is the current leader of the Crystal Gems. Hopper dislikes Ringo because he tricked her, Hoppy, and Garnet into helping him with his evil scheme. Garnet is the deuteragonist of the Cartoon Network series Steven Universe, one of the three tritagonists (alongside Pearl and Amethyst) of Steven Universe: The Movie, and a main character in Steven Universe Future. Hopper helps Garnet train to increase her 'power levels', but altogether they have a good relationship. Hoppy and Hopper have a fairly good relationship, as they both were seen helping Garnet train. She also seems to take an interest in her power-measuring device as she seems to have it around a lot when it isn't broken. She also constantly uses the term 'hop' or 'hopping' as puns in many of her lines. She sticks her tongue out a lot and exaggerates her sentences. Hopper's personality is similar to Amethyst's.
